Wondering about the colourful picture at the top??

This is from the beautiful signature piece of the Celebrating Women collection. Each fabric represents the many women from many cultures and countries who along with our Aboriginal sisters built Canada. Interested in finding out more? Contact NCWC at ncwc@magma.ca. We think it fits in very well with the meetings of the CSW, and the women of the world working together. This is our refection of women working together in Canada.

At the Annual Meeting in Edmonton, 2004, the Celebrating Women project was launched. This was a national touring art exhibition honouring the passion, pride and perseverance of Canadian Women. The exhibit featured the artwork of Canadian artist Larisa Sembaliuk Cheladyn and is a dynamic statement about the impact women have had on Canadian history.
